Welcome to Shafer Medical Devices, a Division of Shafer Enterprises, LLC.

Shafer Medical Devices was born out of a partnership between Shafer Enterprises, LLC and Hothead Technologies to create the SafeTemp® technology for use in hospitals to monitor and maintain patient normothermia.

While there are many technologies on the marketplace to either monitor temperature or to provide patient warming, SafeTemp® is unique in that it can monitor and transmit temperature readings from anywhere in the hospital and can handle up to 1,000 patients at a time.
